"Grimoire" is my second finished game among tons of dead prototypes, made for Godot Wild Jam #57. It is about picking locks to unlock a grimoire for a group of archeologists.

Theme: "Forgotten knowledge"

Very nice game idea! I love it.
But yeah, I agree with the previous comment, the time limit is too low, the levels are quit hard.

Yeah, the timers on some mazes may be a little too tight, maybe, like 5 to 15 seconds, but it wasn't made to be solved first try. Try to plan the whole route ahead to avoid unefficient, "red herring" paths (restart if you need more time to plan) if you play it again.

I like the idea, but the time limit feels too low. I tried it a few times, but kept running out of time.

Ok, I'll take note of that for my next games, but the center lock was intended to have an extremely short time limit because it was small.
